Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies

 Don't be a Turkey this Holiday... make some Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies (...if you don't want to feel "stuffed")!  In fact, you are in luck because this recipe makes TWO AT A TIME  ( anything after one is just gravy...)!  Thanks to the festivities, we have many reasons to celebrate these perfect little fowls.  Each cookie with frosting is approx 300 calories, 10g net carbs and 31g protein.  "Fly" into a Holiday craft project, get your "legs" moving and earn a "feather" in your creative cap, ... then "gobble gobble" these birdies up  ;)  PS  If you are not sure what design to make, just "Wing It"  ...

Ingredients for Turkeys~
Peanut Butter Supreme Quest Bar
Peanut Butter Cup Quest Cravings
2 sets of purchased edible eyes, or pipe your eyes with frosting
1 cup Vanilla MilkShake Quest Protein Powder Frosting ( Recipe Below)

Microwave unwrapped Peanut Butter Supreme Bar for 12 seconds, divide in two and pat into large circles and lay on Silpat lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 5-7 minutes, remove and cool.  After cooled, top each cookie with dab of frosting and sit a Peanut Butter Quest Craving Cup on top to seal in place.  Start decorating as desired with your frosting.  I used store bought eyes and piped the mouth, legs, hair and feathers.  Spread your wings of creativity and fly away into the Holidays  ;)

Ingredients for Frosting~
1/2 cup 30 cal/cup Almond Milk
4oz Fat Free Cream Cheese, brought to room temperature
1/4 cup lowfat Cottage Cheese
1 scoop Vanilla Milkshake Quest Protein Powder
2 Tablespoons Coconut Flour
1 Tablespoon Sugar Free Cheesecake Instant Pudding
1/3 cup Swerve Confectioners Erythritol
Dash Cinnamon
Dash Vanilla

     Mix first three ingredients in Magic Bullet til liquefied , then add in remaining ingredients and continue to blend til mixed thru.  Chill in fridge to thicken, store leftovers in fridge.  Makes 2 cups, each Tablespoon is 11.5 calories,.8g net carbs and 1.5g protein.
