Frosted Banana Walnut Bars
My fun friend Wendy is at it again!!! She re-created my Sweet Potato Bars into Banana Walnut Bars, and these are phenomenal !!! This recipe makes 9 servings, each one has 143.5 calories, 12 net carbs and 12.6g protein. Lovin on this flavor combination, this is a must try ;)
Ingredients~
1.5 cups mashed Banana
1 Egg
3/4 cups Egg Whites
2 scoops Vanilla Milkshake Quest Protein Powder
1/4 cup Coconut Flour, found at Vitacost.com
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon, found at Vitacost.com
1 teaspoon Vanilla, found at Vitacost.com
1 teaspoons Baking Powder, found at Vitacost.com
1/4 cup chopped Walnuts, found at Vitacost.com
9 Tablespoons of Cream Cheese Protein Frosting ( recipe below)
Mix all together, except Frosting, and bake in Pam sprayed 9X9 pan at 375 for 25 minutes. Remove, cool, cut into 9 pieces, and top each piece with a Tablespoon of Cream Cheese Protein Frosting. Store in fridge. Enjoy :)

Ingredients for Cream Cheese Protein Frosting ( makes 2 cups)~
1/2 cup 30 cal/cup Almond Milk, found at Vitacost.com
4oz Fat Free Cream Cheese, brought to room temperature
1/4 cup lowfat Cottage Cheese
1 scoop Vanilla Milkshake Quest Protein Powder
2 Tablespoons Coconut Flour, found at Vitacost.com
1 Tablespoon Sugar Free Cheesecake Instant Pudding
1/3 cup Erythritol, found at Vitacost.com
10 drops French Vanilla Stevia, found at Vitacost.com
Dash Cinnamon
Dash Vanilla
Mix first three ingredients in Magic Bullet til liquefied , then add in remaining ingredients and continue to blend til mixed thru. Chill in fridge to thicken, store leftovers in fridge. Makes 2 cups, each Tablespoon is 11.5 calories,.8g net carbs and 1.5g protein.
