Peach Pie Turnovers for Two A La Mode
Happiness isn't true unless it's shared. Such is the case with Peach Pie Turnovers for Two A La Mode. But lucky for me the Hubs didn't eat all of his so I should rename it Peach Pie Turnovers for "ME" A La Mode because I ate every single bite and licked the plate clean! Even better news is that each Turnover is only 241 calories, 10.8g net carbs and 23.3g protein. Next time you have to make a dessert for two (or just for yourself) give this a whirl and I dare you not to lick your plate clean too! :)
Ingredients for Two Turnovers~
2 Quest Cinnamon Roll Protein Bars
3oz diced fresh Peaches
1 Tablespoon Swerve Granular Erythritol
Dash Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Cinnamon Roll Sweet Spreads Coconutter, melted
1 Tablespoon Walden Farms Syrup
1/2 cup Frozen Peach Yogurt (recipe below)
Microwave unwrapped Quest Bars for 12 seconds each, and pat into squares on Silpat lined cookie sheet. Mix diced Peaches with Erythritol and Cinnamon and place half of each peach mixture in middle of each Cinnamon Roll squares, fold in half diagonally forming triangles using fork tines to pinch edges together. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Meanwhile stir together melted Cinnamon Roll Sweet Spreads and Walden Farms Syrup til smooth, drizzle on Turnovers and top with a 1/4 cup frozen Peach Yogurt on each Turnover. Enjoy :)
