There is something about that spicy salty garlicky scrumptiousness...am I right!? Add in warm doughy goodness and you have a winning combination on your hands. Although I rarely bake with Flour, this is an exception and moderation is key. This recipe makes 4 Bagels, all for 128 calories, 22g net carbs, 8g protein and 1g fat. Two today and two tomorrow. This comfort food hits the spot!
Ingredients for 4 Bagels~
3/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons Flour
6oz 0% Fage Greek Yogurt
2 Tablespoons Milk (I used 2% in this recipe)
1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
3/4 teaspoon Lite Salt
1 Tablespoons Egg Whites
1/2 teaspoon Trader Joe's Everything Bagel Sesame Seasoning
Mix Flour, Yogurt, Milk, Baking Powder, and Salt til thoroughly combined. Knead 20 times, then divide into 4 equal parts, should be about 2.75oz each (or just eyeball it). Roll each piece into a long rope and connect into a circle and sit on Silpat lined cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining dough. Brush with Egg Whites, sprinkle with Seasoning on top of Dough. Bake at 350 for 22 minutes, raise the heat to 550 for 4 additional minutes. Remove and Enjoy :)
