Maple Bacon Donuts
But seriously...I just can't...or can I!? My Maple Bacon Donuts might be my best work yet. Moist, tender, and bursting with high pitched flavor ...could there be anything more exciting than the marriage of Maple and Bacon, especially when their first home is a Donut! Each of the 9 happy couples are only 176 calories, 24.4g carbs, 1.6g fiber, 21.7g sugar alcohol, 1.2g net carbs, 6g protein and 15.3g fat. Start or end your day with this match made in heaven! :)
Ingredients for 9 Donuts~
4 Tablespoons Butter, softened to room temperature
1/2 cup Lakanto Golden Monk Fruit~use code Paige20 at checkout for discount (sub with Regular)
1 cup Almond Flour
2 Extra Large Eggs
1/4 cup Sour Cream
2 slices cooked and crumbled Bacon
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
Dash Cinnamon
Dash Maple Extract

2 slices cooked and crumbled Bacon
From first set of ingredients, mix Butter and Monk Fruit til well incorporated, then blend in rest of ingredients. Add a 1/4 cup batter to each tin of coated Donut pan, bake at 375 for 12 minutes. Let cool, gently remove from pan and flip over. Meanwhile, mix set set of ingredients into smooth glaze, dip the top of each Donut to coat the top, sprinkle with Bacon bits. Enjoy :)
