Filet Fondue Family Fun

What a fun way to celebrate eating !!!  Nothing like everyone cooking their own bits of meat, especially if its in a healthy way !!!  The simple trick here is to substitute chicken broth for oil in the Fondue Pot, you get plenty of flavor with out any of the calories !!! Serve it with a corn and potato boil and you have a simple yet wonderful meal !!! Voila

Ingredients~
2 teaspoons LB Jamisons Chicken Base
2 cups water
Beef of your choice, I did a combination of Sirloin and Filet, cut into bite size pieces
Corn on the cob
Baby New Potatoes ( I like the tri color blend of baby potatoes)

Bring large pot of water to boil and add the potatoes to cook for 15 minutes, add the corn the last 5 minutes of cooking, drain in colander.  Meanwhile, mix chicken base and water in measuring cup and microwave for 3 minutes, stir and pour into fondue pot and set on medium high. Serve bite size meat with simmering chicken broth in fondue pot with the corn and potatoes.  Use fork, or fondue tongs to spear meat and hold in hot broth til cooked thru to desired level.  I like mine medium rare and it usually takes less than 30 seconds to cook, maybe even 15 seconds if your bites are small enough.  Feel free to season any way you wish.  This is a fun family activity and encourages you to eat a little slower and you will be amazed how fast you fill up by slowing down !!!  Enjoy  ;)
