Syrup Soaked Monte Cristo







     How long has it been since you have POURED Maple Pancake Syrup over your sandwich ... that's what I thought ...  !!!  It's been a LONG time for me too!!!  But no more says I, ... I have figured out the best little creation with BREAD, SYRUP, BACON, MEAT and JELLY!!!  Whose yo' momma now!!!???  May I proudly introduce my Syrup Soaked Monte Cristo, PLUS A BAG OF QUEST CHIPS, all for 322 calories, 18g net carbs and 44g protein.  Halleugha, Praise the Lord  ;)

Ingredients~
2 Tablespoons Egg Whites
2 Slim Buns (recipe below)
1 slice of cooked Turkey Bacon, divided in half
1/2 oz sliced Ham
1/2 oz sliced Turkey
1 slice Fat Free American Cheese
1 Tablespoon Polaner Sugar Free Strawberry Preserves
Walden Farms Pancake Syrup
1 bag Quest Chips

     Soak your Slim Buns in the Egg Whites and brown on each side in a Pam coated skillet.  Remove and add divided slice of cooked Bacon side by side on one slice of bread, top with Ham and Turkey, and finish with slice of Cheese.  Spread Preserves on other half of bread and form sandwich, slice in half and pour Syrup over top.  Enjoy with your favorite bag of Quest Chips  ;)

Ingredients~
1 medium Zucchini, ends cut off
1/2 cup baked and skinned Sweet Potatoes
1 large Egg
1/3 cup Egg Whites
2 scoops Mulit Purpose Quest Protein Powder
1 cup Oats
1/3 cup Oat Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder

     Chop Zucchini into large chunks and place in Food Processor and blend til smooth, add Sweet Potatoes and continue to blend thoroughly.  Transfer to bowl and stir in Egg, Egg White, Protein Powder, Oats, Oat Flour and Baking Powder til smooth.  Drop 2 Tablespoons on Silpat lined cookie sheet and spread into a circle, repeat with remaining batter. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.  Remove and cool. Enjoy  ;)
