Berry Berry French Toast
Words can't express my level of joy with having French Toast back in my life! After discovering Thin Slim Foods and their Honey Bread my emotions have been spilling over with out bursts of delirious tears! Not only does it taste great, each slice is only 50 calories, 1g net carb and 7g protein... can you imagine bread that has more protein than carbs!? Has this world gone mad!!!??? (I just chalk it up to magic and call it good) ...Anyhoo, I digress... For this entire stack it is only 190 calories, 2g net carb and 22g protein (macros don't include Berries or Whipped Topping garnish). This recipe is so versatile, you can let your imagination run wild with what ever you want to accessorize the King of the Hill! Choose fruit, Nut Butter, Seeds or just a little touch of Syrup and enjoy every guilt free bite! :)
Ingredients for French Toast~
1 jumbo Egg
1 Tablespoons Swerve Granular or Confectioners Erythritol
Dash Cinnamon
2 slices Thin Slim Foods Honey Bread (thinslimfoods.com)
No Calorie Spray Butter, if desired
No Calorie Walden Farms Pancake Syrup
Berries to garnish (or other toppings as desired, toppings not included in macros)
Whipped Topping as garnish (not included in macros)
Add Egg, Swerve and Cinnamon to bowl and beat with fork til well incorporated. Add Bread one at a time to soak with Egg mixture, and fry in Pam coated skillet. Top each slice with Spray Butter if desired, stack and drizzle with Syrup. Top with Berries or as desired. Garnish with Whipped Topping if desired. Enjoy :)
