Ingredients for Slaw~
1/2 c crumbled Blue Cheese
7oz 2% Fat Greek Yogurt ( I suggest Fage)
1 Tablespoon Vegenaise
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar
Dash Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
3 cups Broccoli Slaw
Mix all ingredients and set aside.
Ingredients for Burgers~
3 pound 93% lean ground Turkey
1 1/2 cup grated Carrots
3/4 cup seasoned whole wheat Bread Crumbs
2 teaspoons heaping chopped jarred garlic
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup Franks Hot Sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste
12 slices reduced fat Cheddar
12 whole wheat burger Buns ( I look for the 100 calorie Slim Buns)
In large bowl, combine Turkey, Carrots, Breadcrumbs, Garlic, Onion, Hot Sauce, Salt and Pepper. Make 12 equal patties, should be about 5.5oz each. Cook on Grill, OR heat a large skillet on high heat. When hot, lightly spray with Pam. Add burgers to pan and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook on one side until browned, 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook another 4 minutes or until burgers are cooked all the way through. ( Keep heat medium-low to prevent burning). Top with Cheddar Cheese and toasted buns topped with Broccoli Slaw. Enjoy ;)
