Double Chocolate Chunk Protein Truffle
When I came upon this recipe, I knew I had to try it and was hoping it would work !!! It DID WORK and I will now be eating Truffles every afternoon as part of my daily diet and afternoon treat ... because I DESERVE it, duh !!! Now you can have Truffles everyday too, all nine were only 230 calories, 6g carbs and 32.5g protein. With these kinda stats you SHOULD be eating these everyday !!! A Truffle a day will keep the doctor away !!! ;)
Ingredients~
1 Double Chocolate Chunk Quest Bar, chopped into small pieces
1/2 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder
2 Tablespoons unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk
1 teaspoon unsweetened Special Dark Cocoa Powder
9 Grain Sweetened Organic Carob Chips, if desired for garnish
In mixing bowl, put in Quest Bar pieces and milk, microwave for 1 minute, making sure to not boil over. Stir til smooth. Stir in Protein Powder a bit at a time til large clump forms. Roll into small ball between palms, then sprinkle the cocoa powder into a thin layer and roll lightly in powder. Add one chip on top if desired, chill in frig til set. Enjoy ;)
