Fresh Salsa





     Not to brag, but I think I finally came up with the perfect combo for the ultimate healthy Salsa.  We have been cutting back on sodium in this house, so this is a very low sodium Salsa, all the while maintaining that great tangy flavor!  And even better, checkout these macros.  Each of the 12 half cup servings are only 26 calories, 6.5g carbs, 1.5g fiber, 5g net carbs, 1.4g protein and zero fat.  The hardest choice will be what to use this with, but make it easy on yourself and use it with EVERYTHING!!!  This whips together in a snap, which means it will be in your tummy sooner than later!  :)

Ingredients for 12 half cup servings~

28oz Crushed Tomatoes (I used a no salt added)

1 cup (5oz) chopped Onion

1 trimmed and chopped Green Bell Pepper

2 trimmed, seeded and chopped Jalapenos

2 Tablespoons Lime Juice

1 Tablespoon chopped Garlic

Salt to season if desired (I did not use any Salt)

     Add all ingredients to food processor, blender or Vitamix and blend til fully incorporate, should just be a few seconds.  Enjoy  :)
