Grandma Mary's Potato Salad

When it comes to Potato Salad, our family doesn't fool around!!!  Everybody loves and REQUEST'S Grandma Mary's Potato Salad at our big gathering!  One of my favorite things about it is that she serves it warm.  That's the best part!  I can't give you specifics because she doesn't measure, she got this recipe from watching her mother make it. But I can give you the ingredients and you can make your own family traditions from there as to what your peeps prefer!  Have a Happy Memorial Day!  ;)

Ingredients~
Baked or Boiled Potato's~ peeled and cubed
Salt and Pepper
Garlic Powder
1-2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
Mayo
Brown Mustard
Celery
Sweet Pickles with Juice
Onion
Boiled Egg's sliced in Rings for garnish if desired
Paprika for garnish

My mother cooks, peels and cubes her potatoes, then sprinkles with salt and pepper. She uses Russet Potato's, I use Golden Yukon, but she says a Potato is a Potato... so you can choose what ever tickles your fancy! Then she adds Garlic Powder and Mayo to taste.  You can also add Mustard to taste, if desired.  From there, add diced Celery, diced Sweet Pickles with a little bit of juice, and chopped Onion.  Top with Boiled Egg Rings if desired, but definitely finish it off by sprinkling with Paprika, that is a MUST!  My mother would just die if you left the Paprika off!!!  Sheesh, please don't forget!  And lastly, please try to serve warm!  It is the best and ONLY Potato Salad I will eat!  Enjoy  ;)
