Cheese wedge on Pears and Apples with Maple Date Cream and Walnuts

     Cheese Wedge on Pears and Apples with Maple Date Cream and Walnuts!!!  The title says it all!!!  Head over to Whole Foods for an awesome assortment of cheese, unbelievable fresh fruit and wonderful bins full of beautiful nuts to choose from !!! The Fromager has a wealth of information and is  available to help you make all your cheese pairing decisions! Make sure to include some of the cheese in this recipe for your next big gathering ... or gathering of one !!!  You won't be sorry  ;)

1 Pear, sliced
1 Honey Crisp, Sweet Tango or Fuji Apple, sliced
Assorted Cheese Slices~ I used Uniekaas Robusto Gouda, White Stilton with Lemon, Fromager Affinois Brebis Brie, Mitica Drunken Goat, Wensieydale with Cranberries
Maple Date Cream Syrup ( recipe listed below)
Organic Walnuts, or regular if desired

     Line your Silver Platter with sliced Apple and Pear, top with assorted cheese slices, drizzle with Maple Date Cream, and top with Walnut pieces.  The Organic Walnuts in the bin at Whole Foods were the most beautiful Walnuts I have ever seen, check them out !!!  Enjoy  ;)

Ingredients for Maple Date Cream~
4 Medjool Dates, soaked in water for 30 minutes, drain water and remove pit
1 Tablespoon Erythritol
1/4 teaspoon Maple Extract
1 teaspoon French Vanilla Stevia
Dash Cinnamon
Dash Vanilla
1 cup 30 cal/cup Almond Milk

     After draining water off Dates, remove pit and put in Magic Bullet along with the rest of the ingredients and blend til well combined.  Store in fridge, and use as you would any Maple Syrup.  Each Tablespoon has 12.5 calories, 2.8g carbs, and .13g protein.  Enjoy  ;)
