Simple Bagels

If easy appeals to your senses, then have I got some great news for you!  This is a Bagel recipe that comes together in minutes, but it tastes like it was an arduous labor of love.  So with a few simple ingredients, you can have these chewy spheres in under an hour.  Each one is only 163 calories, 25g carbs, 1g carb, 24g net carbs, 8.2g protein and 2.8g fat.  The hardest part will be deciding your favorite topping.  Enjoy  :)

Ingredients for 4 servings~
1 cup Flour
7oz container 5% Fage Yogurt (you can sub with 2% or 0%)
1 heaping teaspoon Baking Powder
Dash Salt
1 Tablespoon beaten Egg White

Cinnamon
Everything Bagel Seasoning
Berries

Mix together Flour, Yogurt, Baking Powder and Salt, stirring til fully incorporated.  Then kneed 15-20 times, separate dough into four equal balls, should be about 3-3 1/8oz each.  Most people roll dough into long rope and tie into a circle, I roll dough into a ball and punch hole in center like a doughnut, either method works.  I find the rope can separate during baking, so I use the ball method, but the dough is not near as smooth and pretty.  #tradeoffs  Next, brush the tops with beaten Egg White, and sprinkle lightly with salt.  If desired, make a mixture of Monk Fruit and Cinnamon and sprinkle on top, or season with Bagel Seasoning, or mix in about a 1/2oz fruit per Bagel.  Feel free to garnish as desired.  Bake on silpat lined cookie sheet at 350 for 22 minutes, then turn oven up to 550 for 4 more minutes.  If tops start getting too brown on some of the flavors, you may have to cover them with foil to avoid burning.  Enjoy  :)
