Butternut Maple Apple Tart Ala Mode...I have found the perfect combination... YOU ARE VERY WELCOME!!! #noproblem Bought myself a Tart pan and my life will never be the same... of course I had no choice but to fill it with every good thing this world has to offer! My list had to start somewhere, and I choose Apples, Butternut Squash and Ice Cream... stay tuned for what's coming next on the Tart List ;) PS Macro's rock on this baby at 254 calories, 17g net carbs, and 27g protein.
Ingredients~
Cinnamon Roll Quest Bar
1/4 cup diced Apple
1/4 cup diced Butternut Squash
Dash Balsamic Vinegar
Dash Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Protein Powder
1/4 cup Vanilla Low Carb Ice Cream, optional
1 teaspoon Dried Diced Apple, Bob's Red Mill
Unwrap Quest Bar and microwave Bar for 12 seconds, pat into Pam coated Tart Tin and bake at 350 for 6 minutes, set aside to cool and loosen from tin and chill in refrigerator. Meanwhile toss Squash and Apples with Balsamic, and Cinnamon ~ spread on foil lined pan and roast at 425 for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. After done roasting, stir in Protein Powder and fill Tart with mixture. Sprinkle with the Dried Diced Apple's and Ice Cream. Enjoy ;)
